Can you help for a longer - or retainer period?

Yes!

Can you give me a quick cost of how much?

Yes - but mostly no.
Hard no.

I don’t create based on templates or shell structure events. And to be honest, anyone who gives you a quick sum, (guaranteed) missed the brief or will overspend at some point. - Fact!

Many coordinators aim for financial management - I apply financial stewardship - We discuss your needs, I create an accurate cost estimate based on these needs - and you have a clear and honest projection of what you’re in for. We also plan with contingency - no ugly surprises! In support of this, I work with teams who have quoted in real-time and navigate elements that might fluctuate the budget, and most importantly - I package the execution to optimize every cent spent

How much do you charge?

This all depends on what we’re doing and the full scope which we will discuss alongside the final scope of what needs to get done.

You mention ‘refunds’ in your process, why not bill the actual cost?

Simply put - the process of building and creating an event is not linear. Events specifically are made at the event date - not months prior when we quoted. Shit happens along the way and we need to be prepared for that. (The weather looks dodgy - we book heaters, tents, umbrellas… Extra guests RSVP last minute - something we don’t want to say no to right… so we order more cutlery, napkins, and catering…) Some things fluctuate and instead of you need to face a hard financial conversation days before the party, or rush to process a last-minute payment - we try to account for this in advance.

NOW… My job is to facilitate that process to your benefit, limit any waste, and account for the unspent contingency.

That’s my game.

I don’t run a social media-heavy or “tell the tale” business. While I work in campaigns using the platforms - I don’t engage in driving my business here. (It’s also not what my work is about - I’m more aligned with intentional eventing.)

I have worked across the country - Cape Town remains my favorite city for stay & play!
A firm favorite remains Franschhoek and the Cape Winelands - It’s a quick drive from Cape Town; picturesque, warm, and incredibly diverse in activities - PERFECT for a retreat or summit.
